just wondering if it will void my warranty if i get headers with no tune

Longtubes with a tune will, Shortys that dont require a tune shouldnt but its mainly up to the dealer who services your car, the stance on that is "anything that will modify the motor from stock from the cats forward will void the warranty" so you may need to ask your service manager for a true answer

Long tubes are a power adder that *can* void your powertrain warranty. Many service managers will overlook them for minor repairs, but if you need anything major that requires the approval of a GM district rep you are probably screwed, because he'll deny coverage when he sees them.

Give these articles from our blog a read. With headers you are getting into territory where it is very easy for them to wash their hands. My suggestion is do not so headers until you are ready to tune and do not tune until you are ready to walk away from the warranty.
