RC cars or trucks

Looking to get a gift for my neighbors son. They helped with all this crazy snow while I had my surgery. I don't know much about them. Want to spend 100-200.

Good brand names?
Places to shop?
What to look for?

Thanks

I have a associated sct10 4x4. it is like new no scratches. been run 2 times. full ball bearings and brushless motor. I would sell it to you for 200 + shipping it is worth much more and I will send it with a bat charger. the charger is worth 40 bucks.
if u are interested I will post some pictures when I get home.

that's a good deal for the SCT4X4! I race them myself but to more accurately help you out we need to know how far into racing he is and if he will need a full Ready To Run car or just rolling chassis. These things can get pricey fast! I used to have a SCT4X4 that had about $800 in it with all the mods and electronics.

plenty of good ones on ePay for that price. LMK if you need specifics. I rigged my E-Maxx for light duty snow shoveling.

I use to race them all the time and got out of it. I got this one to play with the kids and they never wanted to. It is ready to run. This is brushless and very fast. The non brushless version is nothing like this. I have seen The 2 wheel drive version of this car flip from flooring it while doing 15mph

Wow, that is cool. My wife bought a cheap Target ZL1 car for him but I am tempted to buy this from you for myself.
Thanks for the replies and the pictures!

The last really big storm we had I cleared my neighbors walk and driveway for them. He was so thankful he bought me a bottle of whiskey.
