Video - Idle/Rev Vengeance cam - cutouts closed and open

I put up a quick video clip for the intial start up for this cam package last week. So, I took a little time today to shoot a little longer video for the finished product - tuned and readyto roll! I apologize if the clip is a little blurried and shaky (Blair Witch style). I did my best with an iphone.
I also tried to give a side view to show the drop springs. See my sig for mod details. Enjoy!

You've got bit more than I plan on (CAI, springs/sways, catch can), but what did this run installed? I'm just loving that Vengeance cam sound...

Sorry about the slow replies folks. I've been too busy elsewhere to tend to my Camaro 5 duties! Sorry! I'll send you a PM on what I spent.

The dmh cutouts have a 4 year warranty so I rolled the dice on reliability. If I get a failure after that I can always cap them off or remove them if I don't want to spend any more money. I also saw your Youtube post. LOL - I do not run with the cutouts open for very long. Just on the occassion to run up through the gears ( that sounds just awesome) and at idle to show off to friends or at a stoplight. The cam lopping/chopping sounds best through the OEM mufflers in my opinion. Also once at cruise speed the cabin noise is hardly louder than stock which I really like.

What are you having done? Post up your results. Ron and the rest of the Vengeance crew will take good care of you.

It drives like a good old cammed car should. It shakes a little at idle. Its a little cranky on a cold start if you try to pull away without a minute or two of warm up. It will surge a little at low rpms in parking lots - etc. Not a big deal - just have to adjust your driving style a little. And when you lay into it - it screams

Good to hear. I have an L99, so I needed to rid myself of the resonators. Will be very curious to see how it sounds through the Borla S type mufflers.. I guess I will see how that sounds before we address the cut outs, but those would be great for the shows I attend.

I guess as long as the failure occurs, they are closed and not open lol. I don't have the jack stands to stick my head underneath.

How are the springs and sway bars? Really been tempted to start messing with my suspension.

The stance on the car is great. Its the way this car should look standing still. The sway bars made a noticeable positive difference for handling. Turns through curves are flatter and my confidence in making a turn and holding it is up. Definitely a good add on the sways. The only negative for the drop springs are in combination with the AR headers and HF cats I don't have but about 3 1/2 to 4 inches of ground clearance at the HF cats. Unless I take a sharp forward exit ( one wheel at a time) out my driveway I scrape the cats. Big speed bumps - the same thing. The springs also firm up the ride - not a bad thing really - again makes the car feel and handle tighter. I'm glad I did it and don't plan to change back. Just have to watch the ground clearance. If you do this setup make sure to get a 4 wheel alignment using the proper specs for Pfadt and keep the alignment print out so you have it for the future.

How weird - we share a fairly rare color combo and I call mine Cammie too! We are twins!
