You are in FL, Tracy's shop is like 3 hours from you in Palmetto. He is the V6 expert and has a twin turbo kit for $6900 installed, upgraded twin turbo kit for $7900 installed (which is being installed now on my car by him) single turbo kit for $5900, and soon to be released S/C kit for $5900.

whats the difference between the twin kit and the upgraded turbo kit? what does it have thats more or makes it better? would you prefer turbo over the supercharger?

For the extra grand, the upgraded kit seems like a no-brainer especially for ball bearing turbos. VROOM VROOM!

Take the drive down and look at the cars in different stages of build to see all.

The auto's at about 420 and the M6 should be alil more than that. We will see VERY soon lol! After anyone adds the HP pumps then that's where the TT's will out shine the single and S/C kits. For now it just spool up WAY faster that the single kit and puts out alil more with the OEM pumps. Correct me if I'm wrong Tracy!

Havn't gone Turbo yet, but no doubt I would go with Tracy, he has done many of my mods and I have been very happy with his professionalism.

Don't think I'm the guinea pig on this one. Tracy is trying a mock up of this on a car, but I don't know whose it is. I'm waiting for Brodix to finish their heads to try this. Not to say I'm not okay with Tracy doing this on Gretchen...would love to see how it works...but it was hard for me to schedule time off work so we couldn't fit it in.

BTW, I'll be down there on 3/2/2012. We are going to try to take it to the track that day or 3/3. Before then he should have it on the dyno again to dial in the progressive controller for the meth. I'm hoping we can get low 12s or even 11s that weekend. However, we may be stuck with the 1/8th track because of other events at Bradenton that weekend.

Can't swing by GA and NC unfortunately. We've had some problems at work that require my attention. Also my Uncle in NC had heart problems and hasn't finished the LS1 conversion for his Vega (main reason for me swinging by). He's fine, but can't work in the shop for the next couple of months, so I'll have to wait until he's finished to make that trip.

Still planning on the TX trip later this year. Looks like it got moved up to April (thank goodness, hate San Antonio in the summer... no offense but that's damn hot) so I hope to see some of you guys and I should be able to swing by and see the V6 goddess that is the the Whiteside build (can't wait to see that on the track, she makes Gretchen look like a light weight). Of course you MO and West TN folk know you will see me. Glad to see MIR has opened up early. Going to bring the peeps with the STI and MS3 over in mid March...hope to show them how the 1/4 is really run (RWD FTW!)

Sorry to jack the thread.

When I have enough money saved up, I am definitely going this route instead of upgrading to a v8. Considering all the kinks (if any) for the TT is worked out!

You can get custom cam's for 400 bucks? Please enlighten all of us on that one as that would be 100 a piece...
