Clutch Issue

How do you know when your clutch is going out? I have a feeling mine might be ..... I took my car out of storage last night because it was a 40 degree night, but when I when got on the car hard in 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear it was just hitting the rev limiter and the car wasn't accelerating. When I drove it normal it accelerated just fine.

Did you give the car time to warm up before red lining her?

The car was warmed up. At first I just thought my tires were spinning out, but then I realized I they weren't. Idk maybe I'm just over worrying about this. What are the stock clutch limits as far as horsepower?

Sounds like your clutch is toast. I had a junk fidenza in my car, and I would jump on it in second, thought tire spin...cool. Soon realized clutch was gone!!

Does the material on the stock clutch really burn out that easy?

Stock clutch is pretty stout, depends on driving style.
