Need to purchase Lower rear trailing arms

I have a 2010 Camaro that is putting out 574 RWHP. I am looking to upgrade my rear trailing arms. Any suggestions on what product would be best and if I should upgrade anything else while I am installing the trailing arms. Also what company I could call that is a sponsor here to get a good deal and order by phone. Will post images of products installed once complete. Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

I ordered my BMR Trailing Arms, Toe Rods, and Split Drop Springs from Apex Chase. Fantastic customer service. The phone # listed on the Apex website is 502-930-2739.

Thank you for the mention. We also have a promotion featuring Pfadt suspension going on through tomorrow. You can click my signature for more details on that.

Dyno comp in Scottsdale just said it would cost $240 to install these = 2.5 hrs of labor? How is that possible with four 8 bolts? They also stated I would require a new four wheel alignment for $100 which seams reasonable. How long would it take to install these?

The will have to press out the bushings from the knuckle which can take a little time, if they have the right tool I would think 1- 2 hours is plenty to do this job.

Nice car! Do the install yourself and save some money. I don't think you need to get an alignment for that.

Pfadt. They are lighter and stronger than the stock trailing arms.

Zman12, I think the kit that I am going to get has the bushings does't it? Are their other bushings I need to get?

The install price doesn't seem to outrageous if it includes an alignment as well. It's a pretty straight forward install, the only slightly tricky bit is removing the factory bushing at the knuckle. Both our trailing arm kit and toe rod kits include bushings for both sides of the control arm, so there is no need to purchase any extra bushings.

Something to think about, if you're getting an alignment done anyway you may want to think about installing our complete rear arm package instead of just the rear trailing arm. The Rear Toe Rod that's included in that rear arm package has a bigger effect on your alignment than the trailing arm does, so if you're getting an alignment done anyway and want to knock them both out at the same time now would be the time to do it.

Yes, I am getting the complete kit. Pricing is $240 for install PLUS $100 for alignment.

I am fine with the alignment but the $240 for just installing the kit sounds high....does this take 2.5 hrs to install?

This sounds way too high. You can literally swap trailing arms in about 45 minutes per side, half hour with air tools and a lift. Most shops will have pullers so removing the bushings from the spindle takes about 10 minutes. If you are even remotely mechanically inclined and have a few tools, a jack, and stands you could easily do it yourself in an afternoon. There is plenty of info on the forum to guide you through the installation process.

Also, removing the trailing arms does not require an alignment. Removing the control arm or toe rod would require an alignment afterwards but trailing arms do not.
