Hennessy Cold Air Intake?

Does anyone have the Hennessy Cold air intake for your Camano SS? Is it worth the extra money? Any other suggestions for a cold air intake?

I don't know anything about that one. I did a lot of reading before I got mine & went with Cold Air Inductions Inc. I love it. There are a lot of threads on the subject. Probably most of them are in the section for the V8 bolt ons. Do a search in that section & you should find a lot of info. I just saw Chase post. He is a good one to talk to about the options & will get you a good price if you go with one he carries.

One of the best combos around is the cold air inductions CAI and the ADM cold air scoop. Cant go wrong with this.

Dont rule out the Vararam. They perform very well. I had the Hennessey and hated it. Had it before I discovered this site.

I'm talking about on the chart that Apex posted. It provides power numbers and fuel corrections for each intake on the market. You guys should read it. But my question was kinda directed at apex.

The Pipeline shows strong numbers but you really need to run a tune with it. That is a deal breaker for many. For those that are not as concerned about the tune, one thing that can be of concern is that intakes of that design are inherently restrictive. At stock air flow levels they do great and show strong numbers but as air flow increases it is not as efficient. I have seen a 25 rwhp swing on the dyno when a Camaro running a Maggie and Pipeline took the Pipeline off and installed a CAI Inc intake. No changes to the tune or anything else. Removed one and installed the other.

Alright. I'm not scared of getting my car tuned. If I'm gonna mod it I might as well do it right.

That being said, what do you think of the Fastlane intake? It's obviously posting big power numbers... (again this is directed at apex)

Def right this thing needs a good tune. Its a massive intake and needs quite a bit of adjustment.
