Unhappy Very Bad News Today.. my camaro didn't pass quality inspection

So I just got off of a conference call with my dealer and our regional GM Rep. They had some troubling news. Come to find out my car didn't pass quality inspection so GM is taking back the car and I am being forced to place another order. Apparently there were just to many problems with it so.... It was on of the ones on quality hold in Michigan #971.

But I was reassured that when my order gets put back in, it will be bumped to the front of the line and I should have it in a month or so. The dealer is letting me get a couple of add ons, on them, so all will be well, hopefully. But what a frustrating morning. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

This is definitely the first time I've heard about this situation. Good news is they actually care that you get a quality vehicle and they're not gonna give you one that's all banged up.

That does not make sense that you should have to replace the order GM should automatically put one in for you.

Dang sorry for the news...it's better that they found out the issues before they handed it over to you. What if there was a major defect and it caused harm to you or others? Good thing they will make it right

Free upgrades? What kind because depending on which ones you can get this just might be a good thing.

Personally there is not an upgrade they have that could make up for it unless they want to sell me a new CTS-V for the same money.

I don't know how many things can be wrong with the car that they have to scrap the whole thing smells fishi. I'm not saying GM has anything to do with this.

For some reason I got a feeling that they will just be giving you 1-2 options that your ordered for free and won't actually give you any options that you didn't order.

That sucks Bro, but it's better than getting a car that you would have had problems with right away. And this is easier to say if it's not you. If I was in your shoes I'd be pretty dissappointed....
