I have to ask why you want to swap to a drill to fit when the car already comes with one mounted under the hood?

I believe it's an underbody brace.

when I googled that last night the first one that came up was the strut tower brace. I figure it must be soemthing different.

bmr makes one too. The guys at Pfadt told me their bushings yeilded better results and wieghed less. they desined a brace and the bushings but scraped the brace because it did not work as well and added more wieght.

Personally - IMVHO - I think the money for that brace would be better served on all the bushings in the rear, because, effectively, that brace looks to try to do the same thing without all the labor to replace the bushings, but I'd be concerned with the cooler lines back there. It doesn't seem like there would be a problem, but that's nothing a little creativity with rerouting the lines couldn't handle. Some AN lines and fittings and any interference should be corrected.

Good luck
