I do know that the Motive reps told us that Motive bought out Richmond recently. Motive is moving the Richmond production to the Motive production lines to improve quality.
Yukon has a great reputation as well and are gaining some good respect in the performace industry.

Thanks
Chris

We use alot of builds using Yukon products with great results.I'm a distributor of the Yukon products here in Canada.Myself,I have 2 vehicles with Yukon products including their Ring & Pinion.Very happy with the product.

Yes,Yukon came out with 3.23,3.73,and 4.11 for the GM 8.6"IRS.I haven't installed a set for the 8.6"IRS yet though....

U.S. Gear also makes a ring and pinion for the 8.6 IRS too now. Nice to see other options coming out other than Richmond!!! So do you suppose the Richmond name will stay around, or will they change it to Motive now?

The Motive reps told me the Richmond name will stay, they will just be making the gears in the Motive plant.

The gears appear to be cheaper but the install kit appears to be more...kinda balancing it out with the Richmond's.
I saw one distributor that had them for $476 for gears $314 for install kit
