Does anyone know when?

I've poked around but couldn't find a specific answer on this.

Does anyone know when GM changed over to the carbon fiber rings in the TR6060 transmission? I've heard several best guesses (Jan 2011) but no one seems to know for sure.

Thanks.

production date on my car is 03/11 and mine came with the carbon blocker rings already in it. didnt matter though that trans was junk anyway couldnt shift over 3500 rpm. I had the dealer replace my trans with a whole new one and this one shifts much better.

OK thanks. Mine was built in 06/2011. I wanted to know for sure if mine had the carbon rings.
