Bought 2012 Synergy - Summit White, PA-to-KS ROAD TRIP help !!! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello All,
This is my First Post...
Yes, I am new to camaro5.com but have been following for a while.

I finally am in a position in my life that I was able to buy my Camaro. Glad I had to wait because I love the 2012 interior and Chevy just introduced the Synergy Package and (what I am told by Chevy) the one I bought is the 1st 2012 Synergy to hit the dealers and the only Summit White Stick with Sunroof (as of Friday 02-25). okay to correct me if I am wrong ;o]

I am based in Kansas City and my new addition is in Scranton, PA.
Already bought the plane ticket for this Thursday and am looking forward to taking my time driving it back !!!
(I will leave the area this Thur about 6:00pm, heading West)

Does anyone have a suggested route, places to see, Photo Ops and maybe places to stay along the way?

I will be traveling Thur Eve, Fri, Sat and am looking for places to stay;
Thur night in PA
Fri night in OH?
Sat night in IL?
No plans yet, but would like to swing by Indianapolis on Fri/Sat.

YES, I can get hotels, I can use GPS, Maps, etc...
I just thought it would more fun to maybe meet up with Fellow Camaro5 folks !!!

Does anyone know if the fin from the convertible will fit on a Coupe ?

The dealer is assembling the Synergy package, and tinting the windows;
I did NOT get those oversize 21" Wheels, not my style
They are not installing the Rear Fin (I want a different style) and they are not installing the white "Heritage" grille (I want black) and they are not installing the front license plate holder (I will drive without until I am forced to install). Will sell Fin, Grill on eBay when I get home.

NOT my car, but the below are the Fin and Grill I am not having installed.
They will be in boxes in the Camaro when I drive home

Beautiful! You're a lucky man.

When I first saw this car, I was in love. It's a major reason that I chose Camaro but sadly it was out of my price range. Enjoy the hell out of it because it's a unique Camaro that is not a dime a dozen. If you get tired of it down the road, PM me! lol

I don't think the boxes for the dovetail spoiler and grill will fit in the car (I have both and they didn't fit in mine). You may want to check on having them shipped to your house. I live just west of Pittsburgh. If you make it this far Thursday night (and you should be able to) you can make Indy Friday afternoon.

That box in the picture is probably the grille,but the spoiler box won't fit.

Also,the Synergy package was first offered mid-2011 model-year,we actually saw a few on the line being built when we were up Oshawa last year in June for the plant tour.
