how much were they? i got mine for $302 shipped from another place. was the best deal at the time.

They were $269.99 with free shipping!!! I really great price for a really great looking front splitter.

I wanted to see if Maryland Speed was willing to ship a front splitter via UPS to a UPS store in Watertown, NY so....

#1 I could buy one for such a low price (Maryland Speed ships to US only)

#2 Even if Maryland Speed shipped to Canada, it would be $100+ and I'd have the made up, BullS**T fees to deal with from UPS

#3 I could save a ton of cash, have a wicked looking front splitter on my car, and have a pig-out at the Ponderosa buffet before heading home!!

We got bum rushed with orders, and I got suspicious and called SLP. When I told the rep there that we had sold a ton in one day, he laughed and was like "Did you charge them $150 for shipping? I was like no....and he let me in that it costs $100-$170 to ship because at 84" long it is UPS oversized. Eating that kind of costs on an item that is only $270 to start is a big money loser. We took them down untill we can change the website to add a shipping surcharge for being oversize to it. Those who did order before we took it down, we will fill your orders end of this week, early next (when next SLP shipment gets here), at a loss because it was our mistake. Those who wanted to order, but missed it...sorry we cannot honor that price on new orders. We will be discounting shipping a bit once the part is back up.

I really like this splitter and want to order one. What is the quality like? Would your guys put it on par with an OEM piece? Does it attach well? I have heard of some of these othere splitters fitting like crap. Is this thing on really good? How is it attached? Attachment pics would be great if someone has some.
