How will you drive your Camaro...

When you get your Camaro will it be your....

- everday all day all-seasons car
- weekend car
- show car
- race car
- collector's item, etc.....

Mine will be my everyday all day all-seasons car.

I remember a few years ago, I asked one of my clients that live in Maryland near me where we get all four seasons why he drives his pretty Victory Red Vette all year around and his word were "Because I didn't spend my money ($50K+) to have something this beautiful sit in my garage and only drive it on nice summer days or the weekends. As long as you're my detailer I will never worry about anything that the elements has to offer." I know the Camaro doesn't cost as much as the Vette but I still just wanted to know what uses you all had for your cars besides the obvious when you get them.

I'll Try to drive it only on nice days but I'll have to drive the truck during deer season. No dead deer in my trunk.

Semi daily driver.

I have a 1994 Mazada RX7. It was a 3rd gen limited production model (around 10,300 units). I've had it 15 yrs and just went over 15,000 miles last week. I look at the car now and it is pristine but the value is probalby around $15k. For this car to start to appreciate in value it will need to stay in this condition for another 15 years or so. I just really don't care about that 15 yrs from now. In hindsight I should have driven it more and enjoyed it more over the years. The Camaro 5th gen will certainly be built in fairly large quantities. It doesen't matter to me much what this car will be worth in 30 years. I plan to enjoy it to it's fullest extent now and when it is worn I will replace or rebuild it to enjoy again. If a Z28 comes around I will do the same with it. No matter what I drive I will take care of it so it is always like new.

Thats similar to the point I was making when I quoted my client. And I never understood when people buy these "fancy cars", have them for years and don't put any miles on them. Damn that I'm putting miles on that joker. My thing is cars can be replaced but you only once. Now there are acceptions to the rules of course. I mean if you have a custom Hot Rod I wouldn't expect anyone to drive that everyday all day. But Vettes, Camaros, Mustangs, basically any car built in the 90s should be driven to the damn wheels fall off. And thats what I plan on doing with mine.

Most days...don't want the crowded parking lot at work to ding my baby...I have recently watched more than one car get bumped by someone parking or leaving and there is no parking in the back 40 because it doesn't exist were I work....

Spring, Summer, Fall. Once the salt and snow hits the ground it's geting stored away. I don't mind the rain, but the salt up here in New England will eat it away real quick.

Every chance I get but I will store it for the winter. Wifes Sky got its first door ding between Sunday and Tuesday. I noticed it this morning. I was pissed off to say the least. Not looking forward to it in my Camaro.

Depends on a few things but probably will not be an everyday car. I travel a lot (my current car had 51K miles the first year) and would rather not drive this one into the ground right away. However, she will get plenty of time out of the garage.

I would never own a car that I am afraid to drive. I was looking at Corvettes a few months ago and found several 2006 Corvettes with less than 5,000 miles, heck one had 1,000. I don't see the point in having a car that isn't driven. At that point you might as well rent.

Mainly a weekend/evening cruising car. Will take on an occasional trip, but will not run the miles up on it. Three other vehicles are sitting in the garage to put the miles on.
