I'm sure there will be some parameters, but we may be allowed to run mostly stock cars without a rollbar, awaiting a definite reply on that...

Yes yes please get a definite, that's like the deciding factor for us. I mean it already has the head rest roll bars but that's it.

Due to the NRHA's event at Famoso the same weekend, it's been tough landing a hotel... Sorry for the delay, I know October is gettin close.

Marriott keeps dropping the ball. I have signed docs but they haven't assigned an ID yet. It WILL be the rate listed above. I'm just struggling to get then to do their job...

Ok, finally sat on people til they got things done.

Call 1.800.228.9290 and specify the Springhill Suites Bakersfield hotel, group code is CAR CLUB.

There are 30 rooms and with my status I can extend it if needed.

The rate is $119 a night, which is a deal due to the NHRA competition in town that same weekend. You do NOT need to utilize both nights if you do not want to.

i am thinking, since they keep wanting to have the fest on the east coast and texas, we should organize a WestFest in Sonoma!!!

get everyone from AZ west, and Washington south and even S.CA folks?????

i will help organize!!!

Anyone that wants to make the drive to bako is more than welcome to come out- the more the merrier, an the better next year will be
