Looks like we might get some showers tonight. Then tomorrow it should hold off until later. I just hope tonight didn't cause them to cancel it. I want at least one run.

We've gotten 3 runs in so far. It sprinkled a little bit, but it's been okay so far.

You're still just weight reduction and nitrous? That thing is moving - through a slushbox no less

Yup. Full exhaust, lid, dr's and skinnies, and 150 shot. After adding the nitrous the weight reduction comes in around 260 pounds. only 60's around 1.8 because I'm not spraying out of the hole, imagine if i did! LOL

Quick question... which car do u think is better.. the prices are almost same
1. 2003 escalade (around 100k miles)
2. 2003 avalanche z71 (around 100k miles)
2. 2002 BMW x5 (around 60k-80k miles)

Either the Escalade or Avalanche
The BMW will cost some bucks to repair if needed,of course even the other two can cost you some money depending on what breaks.

yeah they are my top two.. i like the looks of the escalade but its 1-3k more than the avalanche for 2003-04 models.. do you know how much should i be paying for car with around 100k miles. Craigs list says some where around 10k-14k

Avalanche is a lot more versatile than the Escalade (unless it's the EXT you are looking at). If you get one without the body cladding, a lot of the cab-forward body parts will interchange with full-size trucks making it super easy and cheap to repair should you have an incident.

Another thing to take into consideration is the Escalade is full-time AWD which means worse gas mileage. I'd imagine insurance is higher on the Cadillac, too.

One of the great things with the Avalanche is it has the versatility of a truck, but it's underpinned with Suburban suspension -- that is, it has a better ride.

No i was not looking for the EXT.. i dont think i will ever need a bed unless i am moving some were.. i checked the gas milage their is 1-2 mpg difference between the two. If i get teh avalache i will get it with the body because i like that cladding.. it makes it look bigger.. still looking.
Will decide on one may b e next month.
thanks for ur input
