GT-Rs almost all stay twins. At least the GT-R guys I speak to on the forums frequently.

I see a lot of these conversations on this site as well. Maybe not in the Pittsburgh thread, but in the general forums "what's the first song you're going to listen to?!" "is it a male or female?!" "if a tree falls in the forest..."

True, true. A lot of your higher end cars (Camaro too though not high end) seem to be more about status than actually having fun driving a kick ass car. Even if I didn't mod I'd still be out driving for fun every chance I got. And yes Brendan I'd drive the snot out of a GT-R for the fun factor. I'd just have to get in real fast before its looks killed the experience. Lol

Who all is going to Summit for the Camaro/Firebird show this weekend? It's a rain or shine event and the current forecast isnt favorable but unless it's a big storm, I'll be going. I'll bring my Canopy tent.

The original launch control was breaking rear ends. It worked, but when users would launch the car light to light to light, it would just break out of thermal fatigue.

You can't get on Nissan's case, because GM did the exact same thing with the Corvette when it was added. You use it, say good bye to your warranty.

Thats why the 2009 GT-R had it, and then it was removed for 2010 and 2011.

2012 is the first model to have it placed back in. They now warranty its use and it now has idiot control to prevent the owner from using LC over and over and over to the point it heats up. If the transmission hits a certain temperature, it will lock out LC and R-mode until the car is driven 1.5miles to allow the transmission to cool off, at which time LC can be turned back on.
