Many of the stripes look like different colors due to the lighting as well as the camera that took the picture. Most camera phones are extremely inacurate.

Does anyone know for sure if the GMPP orange stripe kit is identical to the one that were offered as the "rally stripe package inferno orange metallic"? Are the orange stripes glossy? Metallic? (they appear glossy, but its hard to tell from the above pics) I wanted to add the stripe package in, but dealer told me it was too late to add at this point. Photos with the IOM stripes on black look freekin great!

MY summit white Camaro with IO interior order is now at 3400. For some unknown reason I was not able to order the IO stripe kit from the factory so I will have the dealer install them from the parts dept as soon as my car comes in. Photos to follow.

I did not know there was a two different IOM stripe packages.

I ordered mine back in January with the IOM package. The stripes look glossy! They look more Tomato Red on dark/black cars, and look more orange on light/silver. They are not factory installed, your dealer can order them at anytime through their parts dept. and have them installed - or you can have them installed by a local body/graphics shop. My Solstice GXP is Brazen/IOM, as you can see it has more of a "Orange" look, and it is metallic.

There isn't. What is known is that at some point in time, the orange stripes were modified by the manufacturer.

Because of the cameras ability to reproduce oranges and reds.... + white balance settings.

I could be wrong but I believe that the only factory installed rally stripe colors are the CGM or White, everything else is installed by the dealer.

By the way I absolutely love the orange on black. I was pretty set on IOM w/CGM rally striping and IOM interior but that black w/IOM stripping and IOM interior is... god I can't choose!

This is true but I think he means that Order Workbench will not allow you to select orange stripes when the color white is selected. If this is the case then it's a glitch in the ordering system that needs to be fixed quickly.

Your car looks AMAZING and so clean... where did you get the orange SS badges to go below your camaro emblem on the quarter panels, and how did you get your Bowtie orange? I am looking to do that on mine when i get it...

That is what I was saying. The problem has been solved as others have now ordered the IO rally stripes from the factory for the dealer to install on summit white Camaros. The photo by my name and attached is not my car. I went back to this car yesterday and these stripes are definately "red", not orange. I'm picking up my white SS @ 1:00 pm today with IO rallys installed.
