Poster Shoot at Camaro5Fest III - (1000+rwhp) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey all,

so I am trying to get some more info from the Mods and want to work hand in hand with them to make sure we can pull this off easily and stay out of the way of their schedules.

First off... what I need is:

- 5 or more 1000+ rwhp 5th Gens
- Photographer
- PhotoShopper
- Poster Manufacturer
- Moderator Organizational skills

My idea is to have a photo shoot of an elite group of Camaro5ers.....

those of us that have 1000rwhp or more. (fingers crossed that i will in fact be in that club.... but still want to help head this up either way)
This will be something fun that we can create a Camaro5.com poster out of or use as a digital copy to help us razz our Domistic and Import friends

The idea in my head is 5 Camaros (maybe more if we have them) and we position the shot on the drag strip, maybe at the 20-30ft mark so we can get the tree in the shot.
It will be done in the form of a Demotivational Poster, with the text 5 fifth Gen Camaros - - 5,000rwhp

or maybe we want to use the ACTUAL RWHP total? but then it will be a fairly odd number
I think this would be a hell of a poster, I bet we could the Camaro5 Store to carry them if we had the interest.

At first thought, as long as we all have proof of 1000rwhp,
i was thinking:

- me - Kyle.Gilmour fingers crossed I hit the mark
- SSE 4 2SS
- Speester
- SSMagna

Other possibles
- jrpxxii
- Dangeruss
- Darth Emma
- Mad600+
- ???? anyone else can throw their name in the hat

If we have a good turnout, I see now reason why we couldnt have a 6th, 8th, etc.. we can alter the poster for any number.

so thats about it, let me know your thoughts, ideas, improvments, etc.

I think this is a great idea in general for all the heavey modded Camaro's to get togather lots of cool pics of some well done mods!

LOL. That is great! You guys are funny. Maybe incentive for the photographer could be that likely lots more folks (who don't have extreme HP Camaros) would also like to get a shot done. (individuals, club groups, ladies of C5, etc)

By no means was this ment to offend anyone sorry if you took it that way! All I was saying is it's nice to see the heavey modded Camaro's all in one place things we all don't get to see everyday!

Oh, no, not offended at all. I think it is great. Just thought if we have a photographer, others may also want to take advantage. And I thought the suggestions for captions were truly funny. I am not nearly so easily offended as that.

I think we could do both. one with the actual number and another with a rounded off number. 6417rwhp/6400rwhp

Last year there were official photographers walking around taking pics of everyone in their "Pits". I know for a fact if you asked them to meet you at a certain time and you had all your cars there ready... he would take a few good ones for you

I thought we were doing one with Bruce on his own with 5000rwhp...lmao

I was thinking in small captions next to each car you could have that cars total hp.

Then, at the bottom, you could have the actual total. ACTUAL could be much higher than 5,000hp. I do like the "more powerful than a locomotive" line,....if that' actually the case.

But I like the idea all around.

maybe a key in the bottom left corner... displaying each cars hp with an actual total underneath. something small though.. we do not want to clutter it up...

this will be on my Barn wall in a frame! haha

Oh the abuse... Driving my wife's Magnum instead of the SST at Pony Wars was a low point. Throwing food at a 'nice' eating establishment is priceless. It couldn't have been Camaro5 members. Must have been the Mustang group from Steeda...

man... for $50.00... a home-made air conditioner for a small garage is a wonderful invention. I've made about 6 in my lifetime at various points. may make another this summer.
