Has anyone seen a security chip like this?
I had my car keys stolen a few weeks back and along with it an aftermarket security chip. The chip itself looked like a thin circuit board. Well I got new keys now I need to figure out what going on with this aftermarket security chip. There are no markings on the box and I have yet to find someone that knows what it is or how to get a replacement chip for it. Also if there is a quick fix by just disabling it im all ears. Thank you guys in advance!!!!! Also I will say im not really that great at fixing this like this so any advice will be great! Its a 95 6 speed z28 if that helps. Here is a few photos of the suspect.

Looks like a dealer installed aftermarket starter disable alarm. Usually has a chip that fits into the socket that connects two of the pins together. Best just to remove it. It is installed by cutting the wire going to the starter and routed through the box. Just follow the wires and connect the cut wire back together and that should take care of it.

Awesome thank you. One thing I was wondering was that big black wire splits into 4 different ways. One I know goes down the door, and the other 3 disperse throughout.
