Some say it won't, but I painted the calipers red on my sentra and they lasted at least 3 years until I sold it. I think I used break caliper paint. I do know that I brushed it on by spraying the paint into the cap and using a brush. I also did several coats over a day, just left the car on jackstands and put a coat on Avery hour or so.

You can buy caliper paint - I think Autozone sells it. Brake fluid will take it off though.

I used Dupli-color caliper paint on my Mustang, and it lasted for 7 years. Put it on my Camaro 2 years ago. Still looks like new. And yes, the decals will last. I put them on my wife's Solstice painted calipers. in '08, and they still are perfect.

Works perfect.

$25 in paint and clear, $5 in high temp vinyl. 20,000 miles, zero issues.

I need to do this mod ASAP!

When I do it though, I will paint the rusty rotor hats at the same time.

brake cleaner, a good rinse with hot water , three coats of high primer, three coats of high temp black and then i put the stickers on, then three coats of high temp clear. make shure all the coats of paint are dry and i used a space heater to act as a heat source to bake the paint.
