How to mount defroster trim - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I plan on adding a few trim pieces to my camaro interior, starting with this (just arrived today). How would you guys recommend mounting this? Some kind of 3m mounting tape? I stopped by an autoparts store today, but they were out of any 3m double sided tape. Should I use 3m exterior trim mounting tape? Looks at it online, it seems like the foam tapes are pretty thick... I sure don't want adhesive strips showing under the trim because its too thick...

That is nice, go to an arts store and ask if they have the double sided tape used for art mats, its only the sticky part no tape and i think its made by Scotch #924 Adhesive Transfer Tape

I just added a rear window defroster on my truck. it's not that simple but it kinda fun. here are some guide that I found on how to repair a defroster grid. it's could help a lot, you can find some other too on your defroster trim.
