Now FI will show the true potential of the LLT. 500 HP here we come!!

Hopefully Vince can work some magic.. Keep us posted Tracy.

We put the stock pump back on to go to Pony wars as Vince has not finished the tweaks for the new pump but he is confidant he will have it soon. We made some runs but had near zero traction on the launch even with the wider tires smoke1lt has on. No traction through 1st in boost at all, but pulled good through 2nd & 3rd. 60's were mid to high 2 sec so that cost a few seconds in overall ET. Should be some good videos comming up as there were a ton taking video of the runs. Had the RX Super Chiller finished on his and lots stopped and watched it in action also.

Humm now time to search utube. Wonder what I will put in. I guess the next thing is drag slicks. If your going to put 5K or 7K in the car what is another 1200 for some 18X10 rims with slicks . Glad you guys were able to enjoy sun and fun

Looking for something once I get some information. I've been reading this forum for a long time, and no one ever posts actual results. I am thinking of doing a couple systems for my sons, and want something that actually works.

Would the new pump have any bearing/effect on whether or not you need to use premium fuel? Same question if meth is used. I know you would want to use prem. at the track, but curious about daily driving performance.

The pump has nothing to do with octane of the fuel. The ability to go back and forth is all in the tune. As for the meth, I would think that even with the new fuel pump you would want the meth. It just makes it safer to run at higher power levels. It lowers the intake air temp allowing for more boost and a more aggressive tune. It's not needed right now, you can be FI with out it, but you can only run like 4-6lb's of boost vs with meth I think they are running like 8lb's of boost. And then with the new pump they are going to go to like 13-14lb's of boost I think. Maybe stop at 10 for a while see how the LLT likes it.

It would be nice to see some IPF LLT drag times too.

I have seen their 1/4 times on the 2012, and dyno's on everthing else. I can show you where those are.

Could you show me where anything is on this system? I've been watching this build for 6 months. Thought they were close last week on a dyno when they got the new fuel pump?

But the LLT & LFX are different animals. Times may be similar but we don't know because they haven't posted LLT times.

Best 1/4 mile times are still in the 13's due to traction issues, and only ran 14's at SGMP.....60' was 2.90!!!! Had to let out, ease back in, just went up in smoke. Pulled great 2nd & 3rd so looking at the incrementals we should have been running mid-low 12's but until we put sticky tires on.......and were not dynoing until Vince has the tune written for the new fuel pump.

BlackTT600 is right on concerning the fuel, etc.

Tracy. Why are the FI V6's having so many traction issues? The top 26 bone stock V8's are better then a 13 second 1/4 mile. Wouldn't they be having the same traction issues?

They have wider summer only tires and a different rear suspension.

Plus most V6 autos have open diffs. However that is not the case with Smoke's car as it is equipped with the 6MT. I'm having rear cradle full bushing kit, trailing arms and diff bushings installed tomorrow....finally. Hopefully this will take care of suspension issues during launch. The other equation would obviously be tires. 18" Hoosiers and skinnies I'm leaning towards. (Sorry for the Yoda speak.) I'm wondering if I could get into high 11's with RX SC plus suspension and tires. I think it's doable especially with the new HPFP.
