Mine also said that last week... So I called my dealer and they were not any help...

same thing happened to me last week, i sent chevrolet an email and told them i could check the status before and now i couldn't and that it was unsettling to say the least. they replied back with a tpw, APR 30, so maybe you can do the same thing, just a thought

IF THE BLACK CARS ARE THE ISSUE, BLACK PAINT AND NOT CFI, THEN I WONDER IF RICK HENDRICK HAS HAD TO RETURN THE FIRST TWO CARS HE DROVE OFF THE LINE. PER THE PRESS RELEASE HE TOOK HOME THE FIRST TWO CARS AND THE PHOTOS SHOWED THEM BOTH TO BE BLACK.....

this is piece of the constraint list from GMconnects forum. I do not know how to interpret it, I can guess but I would rather someone that knows post what it means

Way I read it is that the whole car is on constraint until 9 April. By looking in the description column, that is what I get out of it. Have to wait and see. Four weeks after that would be May 9th.

Absolutely NOT...it will be the ZL1. Spring is almost here. My ZL1 will be home sometime this Spring.

And...I don't want anyone blaming my BLACK ZL1 for this problem, it is not his fault. So pick on someone else, not my baby. This mama hen can be very defensive, even if he's not home in the chicken coop yet.

The ZL1 is listed 4 times in the constraint list.
The first was added Nov 3 2011 and was stated as controlled allocation
the second was added Mar 14 2012 stating it affects ZL1-B92 Base Black Painted ZL1 hood insert, supplier restriction
The third was added Nov 3 2011 and stated as controlled allocation
the fourth was added Mar 14 2012 stating it affects ZL1-B92 Base Black Painted ZL1 hood insert, supplier restriction

Constraint duration is listed as GREATER than 4 weeks on all 4 constraints (which to me is really 2 because they are repetitive)

So when it says ZL1-B92 does that mean ZL1 minus B92 because the B92 insert is the exposed weave I though? But the description says Base Black Painted ZL1 hood insert

and when it states a target production period of April 9, is that the TPP they expect the constraint to be lifted?

I was at City Chevrolet (Rick Hendricks' flagship dealership) in Charlotte,NC on the day Mr. Hendricks was in Oshawa. They said ZL1 production hadn't even started. I told them "yes it has" and their boss was already in Oshawa to pick-up his. This dealership doesn't have a clue.

At this point all I know is I had the money for a new car at 20, I waited till 21 so I could order the ZL1, patience is a virtue I do not posses and April 18th I will be 22 and if my car isn't here by then Im not so sure what Im gonna do

It most definately has to be Janet and Drake's
Black Z's holding up production. I wonder what

ZL1 release is scheduled for the Spring of 2012 as I recall....tomorrow is the first day of Spring. Someone oughta keep track of the flagrant whiners and moan jobs <and those egging them on> so we can lambaste and ridicule them when the car comes out IN THE SPRING!!!! Heck, no point in that, after receiving their cars most will backtrack, double talk, then play nicey nicey denying ever having spoken the mindless drivel or being serious about it after all, however some may continue to defend their rights about how the customer is always right <no matter how much he moans or complains with or without merit> and GM's business model isn't as good as the company they work for lah-di-da.
