Heck I think it will be more like his main house. LOL It already almost is. He is still out there now. It might be more of a punishment if I stayed out there all the time too.

OMG your not old and yes, very easy. It last a very long time to. Definatly let it cure longer than the directions say cause the tires will leave a mark on it. Kinda like you drove through oil. But it is so worth it when you change your oil and the oil stay can be wiped away or if you drop some antifreeze on it. Just wipe or rinse away.

It is even Poop safe in case you leave the dogs in the garage.

I'm older than you think. We will do some sort of floor covering. We just have to do one thing at a time. We will look into it.

Thank you and Thank you again. The neighborhood is quiet, small homes, good people, and nothing fancy at all but we like it.

awesome thread really enjoyed looking at the pictures. A detached garage reminds me of home (Ohio) I live in California so my house has a 20x20 which I am in the process of laying out. I am going with some Sears cabinets a 6' work bench and some tool boxes about 2k total But first im going to put a blue/black Racedeck floor.

I drywalled my garage and even here in CA its a big difference. Trust me I know your budget is tight but thats such a beautiful garage you will be disappointed with peg board, even painting it white.

Buy the drywall a little at a time and put it up yourself. It really is very easy. Took me a minute to get the taping done right but once I got it down it was quick and easy finishing it up.

garage sale for us in the coming weeks a cheap shed for the backyard to put bikes and kids stuff in and I should be ready to go in July when my Vacation comes. I have 3 weeks so after a river trip and a quick Vegas trip with the family its GARAGE time.

Again congrats on a beautiful addition to your home. keep us posted

I hear ya about the drywall, but I have been around drywall work enough to know it is more than we would want to try to do on our own at our age. Okay, I know you guys don't think we are that old, but when it comes to doing work like that you feel your age very quickly no matter how young you look or feel most of the time. I think you will be surprised how good the pegboard/beadboard can look when done right. Anyway, it would be easily undone if we don't like it after doing one wall.

We got a gulleywasher storm and about 10 min of hail (pea to dime sized)today. The Crossfire & Cruise were out in the elements, Mike was on the road with the Yukon, Ruby was in the center of the carport and lucky Red Raider was safely tucked away in the garage. As far as we can tell, we lucked out. No damage noted in first exam to any vehicles or buildings. Water gushed around the carport and all arpound the garage. It looked to us to be flowing basicly as planned but here are some pics I snapped as soon as it stopped raining. The water went down pretty fast. It was a good bit deeper at the height of the storm but never came close to getting too close to the house or garage or into the shed. Okay so what do my constructon friends think?

the way that driveway is you might want to think about a drain or 2.

Yeah, they are supposed to do something like that. They have changed their minds on the type a couple of times. Water collects in the back too but I did not want to wade through the muck to get pics.

Everything looks good Ruby. It has come a long way and looks good. Im glad your cars were not damaged.

Im thinking of pulling my GTO out of storage (started a resto about 10 yrs ago, no where close to being done) and putting it back into our garage just to save money on storage fees. I only have a one car garage so if Black Ice will be outside, I may get a custome car cover and a large utility blanket for when it looks like hail. I hate to but money......it sux.

Yeah, That would suck BlackIce but all $ issues suck. I get so frustrated because there is soooooooooo much I want to to my Camaro but so little $.

Okay it is update time. Things are almost ready for concrete to be poured - maybe tomorrow. So to my C5 construction guys, how do you think the drainage looks? Here are a few pics.
