Tune in summer or winter?

Say with just regular bolt ons, would a tune in the summer or winter be safer? The reason why I ask is because it would seem that if you got a dyno tune in the winter, once summer rolls around, the higher ambient temp would make your tune not optimal and possibly dangerous with the higher temp.

Can someone educate me on this?

a real good tuner will tune your car as if it had just come from the dealer!! not just put a tune that will run good at 15 degree and bad at 30 or 5 degree (celcius) it supose to play with comparisons!! water temperature vs timming, air temperature vs etc etc.... my last car was a 2000 Celica gts with 543 whp and my tune was made by the best toyota tuner (monckeywrenchracing) from detroit and my car run very well at any degree!! of course I had a full stand alone (apexi power fc )

if he's that inexperienced I would just find a new tuner honestly.

What or wow - the temperature in most indoor buildings (even in the winter) is 70 degrees.....

Do you really think the tuner is performing the work outside in freezing weather?

Tuning can be done at any temp. He just needs to watch all the modifer tables for spark vs intake temp and engine temp. Most factory tunes start pulling timing at 86* intake temps. He need to use caution in cold weather because the factory adds timing in the lower intake temps. Factory spark usually has no modification around the 60 to 75* range on intake temps.
