How to get rid of "Limp Mode" pains.
Sometimes tuning the car to new levels for drag racing can elicit an occasional "Limp Mode" reaction in the car's computer. One can always stop and wait until it resets itself (it often takes twenty minutes, and if you attempt an earlier restart, you are back to square one). The alternative is to connect a tuning scanner like a Trinity with the engine "off". Turn the engine to "on", not to "start", and then follow the keys to clear the "trouble codes". You'll then be good to go.

You can clear it while the car is running with a scan tool. Just send a reset DTC's command to the car...throttle will come back instantly. After you do that, your tuner should be able to tune the DTC's properly so that REP won't be an issue...disabling it is not the answer, though some tuners think it is...it can be tuned to understand your engine, and still be enabled as a safety for a "runaway throttle".
