I feel for you. I don't know how i would be in your shoes. Just hang in there. We'll have our cars soon and then we can all go cruising. By the way, are you getting FNKNSTN as your license plate?

My salesmen emailed me back this morning and told me that my order is progressing and that I am at event code 3000 and that I have a production date of 5/19.

He thinks that the car should be here within 6 weeks of that date!

I haven't bothered him lately. But this is what he said the last time we shot e-mails back and forth:

Why is that? haha You just ordered a couple weeks ago.

I don't really mind that much, as long as I get it in May. If another paycheck comes along before I get my car, then my down payment will be larger.

I just hope that it doesn't come in on a Monday when I'm going to be stuck at work all week and wont have a chance to come pick it up. My work schedule is hectic sometimes.

Yeah. That's a sweet ride. Makes me wish i would've chosen the ground effects. But it's ok.
I know what you mean about bugging the dealer. I haven't bugged him since i ordered my Camaro.

Yeah ground effects would look good... but it's pricey. That's what turned me off... and the fact that there are a few mean ass "dips" in the roads that I travel all the time. You know the type - where you can see differential scrapings on the asphault. I'm afraid that I'd ruin the front end.

Yeah. The price stopped me as well as the slope in my driveway would KILL me. And i really don't want to leave it outside.

Speaking of leaving it outside......

My truck is brown and I keep it parked in my driveway. And twice a year it turns yellow for about a month... just completely covered in pollen from the oak trees that line my street.

I'm going to be washing this Camaro a lot. But at least I wont need a ladder! hahah

Have you had any event code updates? I'm seeing guys on here up in the 4000's in a matter of weeks.

It sucks for me... but you might get your car before I get mine

I haven't checked with my Salesman. I don't want to make him feel like I'm desperate (he might try selling it to me above MSRP). So I'm just waiting patiently. Like you said, everytime another paycheck comes, the more you have for the downpayment.
I would like to know though. Maybe another dealer can tell me if I give them my Order Number?
