I've been waiting all day for UPS to deliver my Windrestictor and nothing! Call to find out they loaded it on the wrong truck and they want to try again Monday. Needless to say I'm not a happy camper. Beautiful weekend, last few days of vacation, 60 mile trip to the beach planned ..... soapbox closed. Exhale, smile, all is good.

That sucks. I had the exact same thing happen to something I ordered about a month ago.

The wait will make it more special! No, that is always disappointing when some pkg doesnt arrive when we expect it. Let me say first hand, you will be one happy customer once this wind restrictor is installed.
It is also really neat at night with the top up, and you turn the light on. Just looks great back there all lit up!

How sturdy is the wind restrictor at high speeds?

How fast is too fast for it?

Nice. I wish incompetent UPS could deliver mine. If its not at will call its time to file a claim.

It is VERY sturdy. I have tested it north of 140mph. Also it helps keep the tonneau cover tucked at higher speeds than not having a Wind Restrictor. Sans WR my cover would come untucked about 90 mph. With the WR it stayed tucked past 130 mph.

All testing was done on a closed course.

It official. UPS lost my windrestictor and now I got more headaches. Maybe I'll have one before it reaches 100 degrees in Texas! The wait continues.

Going to be honest, and I am not trying to be a smart ass, but the only way I know a way of controlling all of the wind is not to put the top down. I do think it helps some, but you still feel the wind. It probably helps someone in the back seat more than anybody. I would hate for anyone to make this purchase thinking they are stopping all the wind because that is not going to happen. These are the facts as I know them:
1. It does help some with the wind
2. It looks great with the top down
3. Looks even better from dusk on into the night with the light on
4. Looks good even when the top is up and lit up at night
5. You get a lot of compliments from folks and we all enjoy that
6. The product is well made and fits great
7. I am totally satisfied with this product and Chase &Paul at Apex for helping me thru the process.

That is it folks in a nutshell from my perspective!
