HELP strut tower cap problem

I have a big problem with my atrut tower caps i don't know if they're supposed to do this after installing them every bump i hit on the street makes a sound under the hood come to realise later that when i hit bumps the strut tower rises and the cap hits the hood so my hood is dented on both sides and also from above you can see it near the stripes ,can anyone help and tell me what to do? here are the pics showing it

But how can they make the covers so high that they hit the hood on every bump i mean they must have tried them first.

Woah. Those are some huge strut tower caps! Pull them off and your problem should be taken care of.

From a quick glance at the picture above. It does not look like your removed the old black metal strut cap before adding the one from Drake. Here is a link to Drake's website with the install instructions:

http://www.drakeautomotivegroup.com/...L.aspx?wid=141

If that is the case then it is an easy fix.

Those install just like mine, you have to remove the stock piece before installing the new ones.

They'd be buying me a new hood if they did that to my car.
