Angry WTH is this WHITE THING on my car!?

It's been on the hood of the car for a while, almost a whole year to be exact. Whenever anything lands on my car I am usually pretty sure to clean it off ASAP. I've washed the car over 40 times last year and this white bubble has not changed at all. HELP!
IDK how this happened
If this helps, it feels extremely rough and it rises on top of the paint.
Please help on getting it off.
Thank you.

Looks like birds poo poo lol. Try a fabric softner sheet. They say it gets out love bugs, and mosquitos or just insects in general off the front bumper(which it really does)

If washing doesn't do it, your next steps are clay, then polishing if necessary.

Bird poo or dried sap.

If its ON the paint, it might be able to be clay barred off with some work.

If its tree sap, you can actually break it down with butter...just put a pat on their and work it around. Then gently wipe.

Go gentle. I've HEARD that dyer sheets work, but they feel so rough, you're just asking to add more swirls to your paint.

i've never had it fail me...it does take some time though...but its obviously super gentle. Just keep working it and moving it with your fingers. Use a nice soft towel to do your final removal. Once the large glob is gone, use a clay bar and lube spray to finish it off. Report back with the results.

He's been scrubbing with a sponge. I think we're way past swirl prevention haha.

I believe it is dried hardened tree sap. Dries on as hard as glue, but oil/butter will soften it and help get rid of it. Put a few drops on and let sit over night to soften it.

Don't forget to put some new wax down once you get it removed.

Give it a shot of WD-40 and wait about 1 minute. Wipe the area off and hopefully the mark will be gone. Make sure you clay bar and wax the area when done.

Honestly it looks like the sap has already breached the clearcoat. I think you're just gonna have to call it what it is.... Donezo. Your clearcoat is etched there permanently from the looks of the photo. Polishing will clear up the white, but it will never be 100% again if that's truly what it is.

Where are you located in NJ?

Personally, I would start by using my Porter Cable random orbital on it, using a mildly aggressive pad and cleaner and see how that goes first. Looking at the picture's I'm guessing it's in the clearcoat. Possibly removing enough of the clear will also remove most of the mark.

Once I was satisfied with the result, I'd follow with a soft pad and a good quality wax/polish.

what are these spots on my car?!

Hey everyone,
I just recently washed my car, and while towel drying i noticed a few marks in the paint. I cant seem to figure out what they are or how they even got there. I have roughly 3-4 of these marks on the car that i can see: 2 on the hood, 2 on the trunk lid. They are clear/white in color, with a spider web pattern..however they are fairly smooth to the touch, no bubbling etc etc.. It almost looks like as if the paint cracked or spiderwebbed under the clear coat, or it is the clearcoat itself as if it was hit by a rock or pebble on the road. My car is Imperial blue metallic so its bugging me seeing these lol. Any help on what they are, if they can be fixed, and where the heck they came from?!

*EDIT- I have no trees around my car its in parking lot.

Picture for reference, sorry for the quality its from my iphone.

Looks like it could be tree sap.

I'm going to link your thread with another where the person has the same mark.

Good thing he didn't use the advanced technique of using a Brillo Pad.

*WARNING* Do not use a brillo pad

Ok, Ive tried butter, and oil over night each with a new trial. Nothing happened whatsoever. Ive accepted that its permanent damage, but I dont want to see that white in it again. Ive read online and most people say use nail polish remover, very lightly.
what do u guys think?
