Well, as it turns out, I'll be working :( Have a blast this weekend, can't wait to see the pictures! You guys should hit the Meadow in the Sky parkway. I could only make it to kilometer 16 in June as it was still closed from snow. It's only 26 kms up though and the first 16 were pretty nice!

The highway north of Revelstoke towards Mica Dam was quite scenic too. In case the day of driving isn't quite enough lol
Oh, and there's this big cement thing in the area too

Okay here is the plan; correct me if you see something wrong. For those in Calgary and coming to Calgary that are not staying at Wayne and Barb's in Exshaw and remember they have invited any who wish to come down Friday night, thanks by the way, You will meet at the Petro-Can at Highway 1 and Bowfort Road, at 8:45am, this will be a chance to fuel up the cars and yourselves with hi-test. You will leave around 9:00am and head to Canmore. Now at Canmore we can either fall in or the group can take the third exit marked Canmore/Silvertip for a quick photo op. I will leave that up to all to decide, by secret ballot, just kidding. If we stop then we can wiat another 15 mins for stragglers and to get the group together. We will then depart and make for Golden. We will meet with Meltdownaverted, Layla at that point and we will also stop for lunch, as we gain or lose an hour depending on how you look at it. That will leave us with our run to Three Valley Gap to meet with the BC group. Note we will not be stopping in Revelstoke until we come back through in mass with our BC brothers and sisters. As we say in the Military To Sum up: and I know most are saying please do;

1) Meet at Petro-Can at 8:45am for 9:00am
2) Driving time 1hr 5min approx;Meet at Palliser Trail (3rd exit at Canmore), SS Orange Crush (Marno and Donna), WBDinger (Wayne and Barb), Mjrracing97 (Myrna and Jim)
3) Depart at approx. 10:20am
4) Driving time 2hrs 24 mins approx; Arrive Golden for lunch turn clocks back 1 hour. Meet with Meltdownaverted ( Layla and ?).
5) Depart Golden at or before 12:30.
6) Driving time 2hrs 6mins approx; Arrive Three Valley Gap Ghost Town and Resort. Hopefully get some photos and await the arrival of the BC group.
7) When we are ready and have met everyone, head out in formation for Revelstoke, approx driving time 21 min.



If so, we will meet everyone in Canmore. This way we can bypass Cgy.

I hope the highway west of Lake Louise reopens soon, shut down this afternoon due to mud slide, or we go towards Radium and then up to Golden, a 2 hour detour, hope you all like driving a bit more!
