Ok I am fairly new to Throttle Body 101, when you say "Just $200 and your acceptable core, or a $200 core charge applies refunded as long as your acceptable core is returned within 2 weeks of reciept (due to to many not returned in the past)." What does that mean? Sorry for the dumb question

Sorry for taking so long to post! I've been crazy busy, but here's a pic of my SW TB and SW RX Breather Cap. I also threw in the IBM Catch Can pic too

Thanks Ivan!

And in case you're looking at this mod, the throttle response is DEFINITELY where it helps. I threw this on shortly after putting on my headers, and this TB made my car waste no time in getting up and going

Nice set up, I have the same Intake was also wondering where I should put my catch can since there is a big hole on the driver side, would like to put a Turbo on that left over gap but no dinero for it yet. By the way did you need extra lenght cables for the catch can since its farther away or will the ones I would get when buying them be able to work?

I think it depends on whether you have the LS3 or L99? On the L99 the hose pulls from the rear of the engine and the connector beside the TB on the left. I used what came with the CC and it worked perfectly I'll try and find the instructions Scarlett pulled from another website on how to install it. I was so lost until I found her write-up.
Very easy, very simple, and if you have the Vararam, it definitely helps fill that huge space
Now all I need to do is go back and paint my engine cover so it doesn't look so horrendous with the REAL summit white and imperial blue next to it haha

EDIT: Ok you have the L99, so it's the same as me. I'm actually off for the summer (gotta love teaching!) so I'm going to make a video and post it up here tomorrow. Very simple like I said before, it just took me forever to figure out what line I needed to take off.
Oh, and buy from Ivan. You won't be disappointed

NO dumb questions sir....none at all.

You pay the $365 (or $415 for the painted to match) off our website....you receive your new TB from us. You install it. You take your old one and send it back to RX and we credit you $200.

So net pay on them are $165/215 respectfully.

Clear as mud? LOL Shoot me a call anytime if you need more clarification on it.

The pieces that we send out are pretty long. It's a total of almost 48" so you can put the CC in some pretty creative places. Typical hose from HD or Lowes if you ever need to lengthen it too.

All painted Cans are 14 days...no matter where or when you buy them.

They are painted to order. We stock what we can but the demand is unreal for these.

Thank you for choosing Southwest Speed!

FYI as stated on their website. Painted TB's take several weeks to paint and get sent to you. You ordered after the 12th of last month I assume, I bet it will be there in the next week or two. Patience young padawan. Mine took 4 weeks I believe. It's worth the wait!

Call/PM/text me the name under the order and I'll get you a status right away. These are being held up by Rx at this point. They are moving at a Turtle's pace in peanut butter in Winter.

Thank you Paul. This is my personal cell number too guys....not just the business phone number. I've given it out in efforts to help our customers get a direct line to me. I do my best to answer and call back those who leave messages too. No matter what day or time they call on.

I've yet to see anybody, anywhere that runs a business do that.

I'd like to once again remind folks that LFX TB's are taking some extended times to ship due to the lack of LFX Cores.

Rx is hustling and busting their arses to keep up with the demand so coming from us, I give you all my humble thank you for the patience that most of you are showing to us.

There have been a few other delays here and there due to Rx's move in location, movement of personell to help support future customers, and the downtime of the communications from their move.

Please contact me directly if you have specific questions or would like to get more details as to ordering or an order that you have placed.

Always here to serve you better....
