Has anyone received the GM Card offer to redeem points to be used towards performance parts? The mailer does indicate performance parts can be purchased, wondering what 'performance parts' the local dealer would have via GM. Any thoughts? Thanks

It's a mailer that GM sends to customers who use the gm Visa card from HSBC bank. You earn 5% which can be redeemed at dealerships. Typically only for a new vehicle, but for the next month I can use $500 max towards performance parts and a few other items.

I'd suspect anything listed in on the brochure of website as accessories. Such as the exhaust.

I didn't get one for parts but I got one for $2k on a new car. They added the $2k to my balance and deducted it off a new car so if you have a balance or credit already they may add $500 to it for GMPP parts. Like a Heritage grill, exhaust system, sub woofer, cup holder lighting, etc. Go to your local dealer web site and look up what after market parts they offer or even dealers in your area.

Last year they made the same offer of the GM Mastercard. I bought a red car cover and new floor mats.
