Having Trouble finding the right switch for the garage door opener?

I took a drill and made this small indentation to the switch so that I could find it easier in the dark. Works GREAT!!! Thought i would share.

yeah those buttons are pretty hard to find... one person put LEDs in them. but it would've been nice for Chevy to add a little tactile feel to them. I normally just reach up to the same place every time and I find it. But if my muscle memory isn't working that day, I always have to look up and move my hand over about a foot to find the buttons haha.

Our Honda Accord has white dots on the buttons...

Good idea on the LEDs...

If you're only using it (the switches) for a single garage door, why not program all of the buttons the same?

I tried doing just that, but only one would take the code. Don't think it lets you have the same code for anything but one button.

Boy, I see this is going "south" quickly. It is just a thought. It is not a required modification.

I place a clear bumper on the button used for my garage. These are what cabinet doors have. Find then at most hardware stores or a cabinet business. Easy to feel in dark, yet removable

I haven't had trouble finding the right button, I do have to look to find them in general. I'm not used to having a button, used to just jump out and hit the code on the panel.
