Best axle back, just cut the mufflers off and have an exhaust shop bend straight pipes for ya. Search "Muffler Delete"

You'll get a slight drone in the interior but it's not bad and cheaper than any replacement muffler.

If you haven't yet, check out the thread on V8 exhausts here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21289

I used a similar thread on the V6 forum's to research the exhaust that I got.

Have fun!

+1 I got the Magnaflow muffler delete because I liked the tips. If you don't plan on doing headers any time soon, muffler delete is the way to go IMO.

If you have a L99 go with the SOLO exhaust with J-Pipes. This exhaust gives you a good rumble with no drone and lessens the effect of the AFM when it kicks in.

Solo is great on the LS3 as well. No drone, not too loud. And you install it yourself so you don't have to put your car in the hands of a muffler shop. By the way, this thread should have been in the Bolt-Ons forum. Mods are probably going to move it.

you CAN NOT make this car stupid loud with just axle back or even no axle back at all (muffler delete).

if you could i would have never did headers.

i would just try a muffler delete.
