Okay Pete, I have a legit question now.

What if I want a better handling vehicle but don't want to lower it?

Until the paperwork is done on my house I am in New Braunfels I will be living i the northwest side of San Antonio in a few weeks.
I don't have much going on right now. My new employer has me on standby until all my government credentials are transferred. So I'm getting paid to sit around and to explore the area.
Let me know if you want to meet up some time this week or next. I would enjoy meeting all of you and talk about camaros.

It's okay, we'll have to teach you how to properly pronounce Huebner, Blanco, Hausman and De Zavala too

My wife is from College Station, she'll make an attempt to teach me. But I doubt it will work. I still cannot understand her when she gets around her family.

Not that I'm answering for Pete, but let me throw my 2 cents at you.

If you are on a budget:

Bushingss and swaybars. Upgrade to the FE4 setup if you can... it is noticeably better...

If you want better dampening but don't want to lower the car then get XA's/Supercars (depending on your budget)

The car will ride better than stock and you can adjust the ride stiffness based on what you are doing and not lower the car.

Welcome to San Antonio and the Hill Country! Did you ever get your Street Z installed?

My answer is always the same old boring lecture on foundation. Everything starts and stops with the foundation. On a 5th Gen the foundation consists of two parts: sub-frame and radius bushes. Both allow to wide a range of dynamic alignment changes. The IRS 'wiggles' in the four rubber sub-frame bushes causing the rear of the car to feel loose. We address that with EP1200 sub-frame inserts. They put an end to the loose rear end feel. Up front the range of caster change creates a soft or vague feeling in the steering. Replacing the OE rubber snubbers in the radius bush with EP6578 or EP6579 inserts limits the caster change with the result being a more on center steering feel. These changes make a remarkable difference in the 5th Gen and do not require lowering.

Normally we would address ride height, coil rate and damping, but for CS we'll set those to the side.

That brings us to sway bars. The factory bars prior to the ZL1 and 1LE were petite. How is that for being PC There are huge gains to be made with upgraded bars. We have two sway bar packages. Solution B has a 27mm adjustable front bar with a 32mm adjustable in board mount rear bar. Moving from OE to this bars is a night and day change. Balance is outstanding. You won't plow the North 40 with these bars. The best available solution in the market for rear sways are Pedders Z bars. The front bar remains the same while the rear bar moves the mounting points outboard closer to the wheels. To upgrade from the FE3 suspension we also change out the lower control arms to new ZL1 arms. Handling become ridiculously good.

Now back to damping, spring rates and CG. I know that some areas in the country prevent people from lowering. That is a key reason we made our Xa and Supercar coilovers adjustable in height. Did you know they can be set at factory ride heights

I haven't had the chance, it's been to busy with getting me ready to come to Texas. Once things are settled down here, I'll make an atempt to install it.

Nope. You are coming out to Fredericksburg and bringing your wife. You'll spend a Friday afternoon at Heath's shop, take her out to dinner and enjoy a relaxed evening. Saturday we put you to work
