After well over fifty 1/8 passes at the local track (Northstar - Sanger, TX) I decided to spend a Friday night at the nearest 1/4 track (Dallas Raceway, Crandall, TX) and see what my Baby would run. Boy did she run, and her best run is detailed below. Looks like I made the Top Ten on the "Bolt-Ons without Internal Engine Modification" list! Woohoo!

Wasn't the greatest run but, I'm new to launching a stick car. I can't wait to start getting under 2 sec 60's.

Also are you guys getting out of 3rd gear? I tried to shift a little early on another pass to get into 4th and came up with the same trap speed, maybe improved 60 foot times will send me into 4th gear.

Yes, i was finishing in 4th gear...kinda' feels like you can ride out 3rd, but your trap speed is faster if yous shift to 4th...it's pretty close to redline then.

BTW. i now know what "wheel hop" is...OMG

I finally went to the track today. Conditions were pretty good but not great (much better than its been all summer - Temps in 70s, humidity 60% range).

2010 Camaro L99, A6
Tires used on pass - stock
Performance mods - CAI, GMPP mufflers, Tune
Category submitted for - bolt ons
Name of track - Bradenton Motorsports Park
Weather conditions (DA + 985 ft).
Time - 12.90 @ 108.23 mph - Corrected for DA 12.77 @ 109 mph

Here are some times slips, first two are from last month when the car was stock. The other 4 are from last night after getting it back from Lingenfelter. The first run I was late on the light due to trying to foot brake it and get a feel for what the brakes would hold. I was running the DR 305/35/20 @ 20psi, 60 foots weren't too bad (I was slipping some out of the hole and going into second), so there is more to be had by lowering down to 12-17psi.

Shortly after the first run (last night) someone oiled down the track by staying in the groove almost the entire length, hence the clean up process began. After waiting forever, we ran then got right back in the staging lanes to run again, and once more before leaving. I was at or near 200 degrees (coolant) each run, so I'm sure there is some time to be saved next spring when I can let it cool down in between runs, and find the sweet spot for air pressure.

Right lane is me, 13.171 @ 110.539 ( DA 1084) corrected would be 13.025 @ 111.75. Stock tires air pressure air box.

Muffler Delete that is all( should not be considered a mod) but oh well

LS3 6k miles on it.
