Aftermarket Performance Items to Add?

Okay hopefully no one else had already started this thread cuz I couldn't find one.

Anyways I have a 2LT with RS package but I definitely want to make it faster (wish i could have got SS-but dad didn't like that fast of car for me & he can't stop grandma from helping me add stuff on hahah)
What should I add performance wise.
I hardly know anything about cars except the more horsepower the better. so....
I already saw on the dealerships accessories website an Airbox which I'm thinking is a cool air intake. I could be wrong? It is $450. Is this a good price for what you get out of it or should i go to a different manufacturer.

Tell me what I should add to make my car better than it already is.

Thanks

an ls3 engine, lower gears, exaust, intake, twin turbo, nitrous, drag radials, roll cage, parachute, Brembo Brakes, upgrade tranny and a blindfold for Dad! Look, your Dad is being pretty practical and more than reasonable in allowing you to get any Camaro. The fact of the matter is that the SS would not only kill you when it comes to insurance but the power could actually kill you period. 426 HP is not a toy in any way shape or form. 304 Hp is hardly a toy either. Stick with GMPP mods until you are out of warranty and gain some much needed experience. The fact that just having a Camaro will draw other potential street racers to you like flies on sh**. It is going to take nearly all your willpower and common sense not to just go off and open it up. Speeding or racing tickets will either result in outragious insurance or loss of your driving priveledge. If you are going to a track then let grandma help build a track car to be used just for that purpose. I dont mean to sound like another old Dad but the fact is that I am and I too have a young son that will be driving my Camaro from time to time and I know the dangers and worries that it can bring. The sooner you begin to awknowledge these issues the sooner ol Dad might start loosening the reigns. Best of luck and congrats on the new Camaro. Enjoy the v6 and you will be amazed at the power and speed that it comes with in the stock form.
