Question Shift point hitting hard? A6 L99

So i recently got my vehicle finally tuned. What i have noticed is that my shift points are hitting hard. Whenever i am driving in "D" the rpm go to around 2500 and you can feel it when it is changing gears by the yank i feel. I dont know if this is normal or not, just dont want to miss up my transmission. Been thinking about gettiing a jannetty tranny tune, only thing is that it will void my engine tune that i got now that i just paid for. Or is this something that my tuner can fix?

Go back to your tuner and have him/her fix it.

He should be able to fix it.

I have an engine/trans tune from Jannetty and it drives as smooth as stock, shifts more quickly but no jerking of hitting the shift points hard in any way, just good smooth, solid shifts.

Your tuner should be able to adjust this if he knows what he is doing. I hear that the Trans tune can be tricky to get right. If your tuner is not experienced with this platform, you may be in for a ride. I would give your current tuner a second chance but if he does not get it right, get ahold of Ted and he will likely solve the problem.

Sounds like the line pressure in the trans was upped while the vehcile was tuned and if he does not have any experience with adjusting the pressure it could be fatal to the trans if not done properly.
