Wow. That's really awful. I dig the flat black, but what's with the mirrors bolted everywhere?

Epic Fail!!!!!!!!! Even if many man-hours went into it, how hard is it to drill a hole and insert a rivet? Maybe they should have got some advice from real car builders. Im surprised there was no flames painted in it. Is the custom bike building thing finally fizzling out that he has to try his hand in this? Foose rules!

Who cares how many man hours went into it? That just means they worked extra hard to make a piece of crap.

Just because I spend a lot of time on the crapper doesnt mean my shi*t's going to come out any cooler.

work smarter not harder

They worked their asses off on this build, and of course took some guidance from PJD.

As for the sheet metal and rivots, those are real. Not decals.

I can tell you that a lot of skilled man hours went into the design, fabrication, and finished product.

..alot of wasted hours, it seems...

Like it or not, it was a ton of work. I bet not half of you folks on this forum even know how to cut sheet metal- but whatever...I am not here to argue or take sides - just commenting like everyone else.

Again, it was BUILT by TAM, not PJD.

Erik@Lashway
I think the PJD logo is over designed and too busy and he has used it to try and re-brand this now iconic CAMARO image. It simply doesn't work.

Design 101

"What does your Client do again? How does your visual represent either that or a quality about the firm that needs to be highlighted?"

What Paul has done here is to try to use the Camaro image to highlight the PJD brand. One look at the great aftermarket Camaro builders and there is NEVER any doubt that the car's design is highlighted never over taken.

Paul is a rookie in design and it shows.

PJD has built a bike for the company my wife works for, Newmont Mining. Newmont is a gold mining company so it will be interesting to see what has been done to their bike. The episode airs on April 9th.

He has done some really nice bikes but IMO what he has done to this Camaro isn't nice at all, but to each their own.

i guess i'm kind of surprised how many negative comments there are here , considering i've seen a lot of Camaro's on C5 that people have done some garish thing's to.

Wow, that sucks really bad. Paul Jr. is not a car designer! And why the hell would any self respecting Bike builder not build up a convertible!

Couldn't agree more...

I don't think it looks, THAT bad. It doesn't quite work for me though. I think the biggest problem is the metal work on the sides; it just doesn't follow the lines, or compliment the car at all. The PJD emblems are also way too big.

I think PJ blew an opportunity here. I'm sure he put a lot of work into the car, but had he at least redesigned the front facia (which I think is the weakest part of the original Camaro design) he might have been able to come up with something really cool.

As it stands, lose the side panels and shrink the emblems, and it's really not all that bad; it's just not all that impressive though either...

I agree, I don't particularly care for all of the things I have seen on here and other sites but this one in my opinion is really poor and I think that the fans of Paul JR designs (myself included) have come to expect much better!
