Got my Kooks LT On!

Hey everyone, thanks to the camaro5 family and the tons of information and inputs from all of you. I finally got my Kooks 1-7/8 LT headers on. It took me about 6 hours with only hand tools and only needed to lift the front up on jackstands. The most difficult part of my install was removing the the stock exhaust manifolds and cats; the bolts was very tight and slow to remove. Other than that, installing the Kooks Lts was a breeze. No issues whatsoever it fit right in like it was oem. I can really appreciate the research, trial and error that Kooks took to really make a high quality header with its fit and finish. After installing the headers, I took her out for a spin and man did my camaro wake up. Now I know what permagrin is. Thanks to Maryland Speed for hooking me up with an awesome deal on these awesome headers. Now for the tune....

+1..... Ted is an awesome guy to work with. I had some initial issues with the tune, but Ted has been there every step of the way to ensure the tunes gets perfected...

You can't go wrong with Kooks Lt its well designed and built. Hardest part of install is removing the oem manifolds and cats. If you have air tools, it will be easier to remove the bolts. I couldn't get to the front O2 sensors and remove them while they where hot; so after the manifold and cats were removed I sprayed some penetrating oil on them and let it soak for 10 min. Installing the kooks was easy. It slid up there and bolted them up. Have fun.

I'm ordering my SCT tuner and a tune for my headers from Jannety. From what everyone is raving about his tunes they seem to be the best in tuning for mods and excellent customer service. I only want the best for my camaro. Thanks everyone.
