SS Tranny Rating

What kinda power is the stock LS3 good too? Want more power but dont want to screw up the tranny..

I am at 715RWHP and have been beating on my tranny for 6000+ miles at over 600RWHP. I also know how to use the clutch though. For example, I dont rev to 4000 then drop the clutch etc, etc. The tranny is pretty much the only part of my car that has not been touched.....yet When i drop in my LSX 427 with north of 1000RWHP I may have to go with an RPM levelVI though.

Thanks for the info looking at only putting a a fraction of your power to the ground right around 500 so I should be okay as I drive the car but dont thump on it

560HP/520TQ at the tire here.. and I WOT (no lift) shift every time down the track.. but, I am still running on OEM tires, so that helps on the launch..

I am about the same.. (722rwhp) now and had 625 rwhp for over 55,000 miles on my stock tranny. I ride the clutch out and don't side step either and only broke 1 half shaft. I have over 75,000 miles on my Camaro and still have stock tranny

Have you changed the clutch or are you running stock? considering the WOT shifts..
