This is a Camaro forum. If anyone cared about Evo owners opinions they could go to the Evo forum. Obviously you have a lack of direction when it comes to your whereabouts on the internet. Not everyone wants to hear you preach about your imports on every forum, and so far thats all you've been doing on this website. |

My V8 F-body is rated for 19/28. Yet my engine is almost 3 times the size and makes 64HP more, stock. And my car weighs more. How do you figure that?? High tech, advancements in engieering?? More like a joke to me. And I don't believe that you exceeded the government ratings by 3MPG. They drive the cars below 60MPH in 5th gear, which gives you the best fuel economy. You don't go below about 70MPH on any highways these days, and with your short gearing, you are turning well in excess of 3,000RPM at that speed. |

I'm here to talk about the new Camaro and other nice cars. You're here to talk up your imports and cause trouble. Quote:

Its like you can't get over the fact that not everyone likes the same things that you do, so you just keep pushing your opinion and biases on everyone until someone calls you out. This is Camaro5, not mygayevo.com or 370Znation.com, I think you need to take that into consideration. |

A. Im not stating my opinion. Im stating facts. Your the one with the bias B. Yes this is a Camaro forum, but this is also a thread ABOUT the Evo started in the "Camaro vs...." section. If you cant run with the big dogs get on the porch. C. If you and your 50 posts think you can classify everything ive done on this site by how ive supported the Z and Evo in the past week than your dumber than i thought. Quote:
I guess this is where it just comes down to it. Im thinking about posting a poll strictly on how people like the styling on other forums to 'wow' you. I love the CTS-V, if you want to go through my history you'll find many posts supporting it. However. That doesnt change the fact that I dont know a single person who said, 'Damn thats a good looking car' when they saw it. I have no reason to 'lie' as nice as that would be for you and your... opinion based argument. why dont you go out and compared sales of the CTS-V to sales of the M3?

Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

Posting from an iphone takes some time... Had to switch over to the computadora

1. What argument have I not used facts to authenticate? Was it the 370z argument that you went missing from as soon as your Drag argument went dry? or the Evo to which your best response is "No one cares about the Evo" 2. For the record I happen to get pissed when people get biased. I dont like it when the BMW guys hate on the Camaro, and I dont like it when some random Trans Am driver feels like him and his rattle trap ride can hate on a car far superior like the Z. 3. Id do some more work. 4. This just seems like a lack of common sense... I guess i have to specify... Go compare the 2008 SALES OF THE M3 TO THE 2008 SALES OF THE CTS-V... ....And If you really cant find the number on the V (which i personally dont believe is true) than add in the CTS and 3-series numbers to the mix. 5. Ive posted multiple Polls onto a couple other sites. We'll see how people really like the styling. If what you said is true, it should be overwhelming in favor for the V... Right?

My car will whoop your gay Nissan up and down the drag strip and the track all day. So I suggest you stop talking out of your ass. And you call the Z (370Z, not Z28, which is the real Z) "far superior"?? Far superior to what?? Its slower, uglier, costs more, and stops worse than the '10 Camaro SS. I'd call that far inferior, just like the sorry excuse for an engine called the VQ. I've seen some rough engines, but that pile of a motor makes a 3 banger seem smooth. Quote:

Ugh. Responding to your posts feels like cleaning up after drunk people. Ok. First. Hard numbers and reviews... So your saying I didnt link Reviews of both the 370z AND Evo X? Yes... Rattle Trap . Ugly as $hit too. Buddy of mine has one. Only reason is because he got it for (and im not kidding) $150. Thing breaks down and falls appart more often than I thought was possible. What year is yours? The Z is just as fast, out handles the Camaro, with better Quality, style and fuel milage. Not to mention the Z will be a more exclusive ride, unlike the Camaro which you'll see everywhere like the Mustang in a year or two. What about that is inferior? As for your comments about the VQ... Im going to guess you've never driven the 370z. Durring my multiple hour test drive of the Z which i did about a week ago, I never once encountered this 'rough' engine you speak of. Maybe your talking about the wrong car? The CTS + CTS-V = 3 Series + M3.... Anyone else think that's rocket science?

Sorry, but I have a nice car. Not some beat to shit $150 3rd gen or a gay ass ricer Nissan. Once again you prove how ignorant you are. Quote:
111MPH > 105MPH Get that through your thick skull. Better quality?? Nissan quality is a joke. 350Z's can't even keep transmissions in cars, and both the 2.5 QR's and the VQ V6's go through piston rings like most cars go through oil changes. Owners burning over a quart every 1,000 miles, and you know what Nissan says?? Thats normal oil consumption. And let us not forget the engineering masterpiece known as the GTR, which in stock form blows its transmission as the slightest hint of aggressive acceleration, all for a replacement cost of $20,000, NOT covered under warranty. THAT quality?? I could go on all day with examples, I work in the field and see the crap they make on a daily basis. You couldn't pay me to own a Nissan. As for your denial about the VQ being an unrefined piece of shit: Straight from Motortrend, 370Z review: The title of the article starts out "Engine complaints..." "Naturally, there are a few characteristics of the new Z with which we're not entirely enamored. The VQ engine, while more powerful and polished than its predecessor, still exhibits a coarseness near redline. Further, that coarseness rears its unwelcome head in the gearbox and pedals, transmitting a slight vibration to your hands and feet when firing off high-rpm shifts" Edmunds, 370Z: "However, the coarse sounds and vibration of this V6 mean you have to grit your teeth and force yourself to keep the throttle floored past 6,000 rpm. Like other Nissans equipped with this powertrain, the din is accompanied by a gearlever that sizzles frantically with high-frequency vibration. We're fans of earlier iterations of Nissan's VQ-Series V6, but the 370Z's VQ37HR could use some finishing school" You live in a constant state of denial. |

Clean it up everyone.
There is no need for worthless personal attacks. Make your point without insulting each other or go away. By force if necessary. Thanks,
