Question 4 Pack Gauges in a 1SS?

If this has been asked and/or answered already I apologize. I have searched GM's sites, This forum and asked my dealer but can't find an answer. So now to the question.....

Does anyone know if it will be possible or cheap to get the 4 pack gauges that come with the 2LT and 2SS installed on a 1SS?

Does the car's computer need to be "flashed" in order to activate the 4 gauges?

Awesome! I was looking around for the same answer as I put in my order today for the RS/1SS package too and thought why they didn't include them in the 1SS or offer the Orange accent interior.

But would miss the guages more. Just knowing they will be offered to purchase makes me feel better.

If you are getting the RS package it will have the 4 gauge package, that is part of the RS, now if you went with just the 1SS it will not have the 4 gauges.

they are NOT part of the RS package, they are a part of the base 2LT and base 2SS. It has nothing to do with the RS package! and i would imagine that the pricing on that guage cluster would be a couple hundred dollars, but you will probably have to either get a new computer, or have the one in your car worked so that they read properly

I would presume the harness connectors are there, why spend more to have different harnesses made.

I see no reason at all why a flash or different ECM would be required either guys.

I'm not sure how easy it will be to get them working. I doubt that they'd have everything wired up ready to be plugged in for the cars that aren't supposed to have the 4 pack.

It wouldn't be the first time you can just plug into the existing harness and have your new stuff work. You can drop a new Denali gauge cluster with a transmission temp gauge into a non-Denali GM full size truck and it will just work, and the transmission temp gauge gets its data from the same bus as everything else.

In another thread, Camaro Scotty told us that the wiring is indeed there but it will need to be "activated" by a dealer.

They'll probably have to activate it with a Tech II.

EVERYONE ELSE IS SOLD OUT!!!! BACKORDERED TO ALL HELL!. A good friend of mine has a dealer who is stocked to the max with them.

Only have SS Gauges available. Both Automatic and Manual.

Paypal(PLUS 3.9% fee), or USPS Money order (preferred).
Both $431 PLUS shipping-based solely on your zip code.

Yes, you can put these in your 1SS.
Includes:
Gauges Wiring harness
Detailed picture instructions
New Center Console Cover

About 25 minutes to install; I put a set in my 1SS

Theyre only good with the SS because they have reverse on the right, unlike the v6 where reverse is in the left position of the gearbox.

There is a possibility I can get ones for the LS and the LT, either automatic or manual.

I will email you COMPLETE Shipping Insurance ( paid for by you) and delivery confirmation numbers to you immediately after shipping.

From payment, at your door in NO MORE than 5 days, throughout the 48 states

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO TUNING NEEDED TO USE THESE!!!!!! AS SOON AS THEY ARE INSTALLED THEY WORK 100%%% OF THE TIME. WHEN THE IGNITION STARTS, THEY GO FORWARD AND BACK TO ZERO JUST LIKE THE CAMAROS DO.
