I'm probably going to go. ^^ Not going to race, just going to watch. Besides dragsters aren't aloud and my Camaro is fast but not fully decked out like the other cars that are going to be there.

do you know about our local forums? www.afbforums.com that's the local Austin F-body forums that are also combined with the Austin Y-body forums... not the best place on the web, but we do some gtgs and stuff and there are alot of AFBers on there that like to do weekly gtgs
I wish I had known about this earlier. Thank you anyway. I really appreciate the offer. Where's your company located? I'll have to drop by and check it out. Who knows, maybe you'll inspire me to do some more engine work. I'd rather not buy a crane just yet, and if I know where I can rent one I just may do it.
On a lighter note, the car has dropped another 2 seconds off her 0-60 from the port and polish! That is AMAZING! I did, however, port and polish the plenum and lower intake along with the heads. That's probably why it was so effective. There are likely a couple of other things I will do to her before the new Camaro comes out. Besides, how else am I going to get away from Tag when I visit San Antonio. I'll bet he's a hard @ss officer! j.k. Don't hurt me. I've got nothin' but for you!

You can't.

What do you drive again? Can you post some pictures? And make sure your license plate is visable?

we are in San Marcos, but the engine hoist and all of our other rentable tools are in Buda... so if you're in almost any part of Austin, you're less than 45mins away from where our shop is at... shoot me a call sometime and I'll meet up with you and show you the fleet and where all the magic happens... we will be doing a tranny mount and motor mounts on a 1998 Z28 on the afternoon of Feb. 24, so if you're free, come on down and hang out... drinks and pizza will be provided by the guy who is getting this work done on his car

Hey guys, checkin in from sugar land. Seen a lot of F bodies running around but to my dismay most of them are driven by highschool punks who ignore me when i give them a thumbs up on their car. O well...

I second the motion to have a huge Texas meet once we all get our cars, I reckon it will be the sexiest gathering of cars this state has seen yet

HEY, I'm a senior in high school and I always wave at other F bods and Vettes haha.

I'm saving up for the 5th gen.. I probably won't get my hands on it until its 1\2 years old. However if there is a meet before then.. I'll gladly go in my 4th gen ;\. lol

Welcome to the site. Little further south than you in SA, but looks like we are getting a pretty good turnout for Texas members. I, too, would like the idea of a meet. I'm planning on picking up my 5th Gen midway through 2010 so I've got enough time to pay off the wifes car before buying my new one.

we could meet up in San Marcos, cruise out the Devil's Backbone to Blanco, stop for fuel and snacks in Blanco, then run down 281 to San Antonio for dinner at the Alamo Cafe just inside 1604... now that would be some good times and good cruising

how about the middle of April? that gives us enough time to post it up on all of the respective Texas boards and get a large group together... might even be able to draw some Houston and DFW folks in on this one like we've done in the past
