If chevy released the performance numbers for the 1LE, I may have jumped ship and waited for the 1LE if the numbers were close. I really hope the difference between the ZL1 and 1LE is similar to the GT500 and the BOSS 302. Ford did it good by making a huge HP disparity between the models, whereas the camaros only have a 160 HP difference...hopefully the PTM and other goodies help the ZL1 catapult ahead in drag strip and road course lap times. IMHO the ZR1 and Z06 vettes are so close in performance as evidenced by the VIR lap times, I would buy a Z06 before spending the extra money for a ZR1 because the extra edge in lap times isn't worth the extra $30k to me, but to each his own. It appears the ZL1 and 1LE suffer a similar performance based on the lap times and that's a little disturbing if you're a future ZL1 owner and GREAT NEWS if you're a future 1LE owner.

Is anybody expecting the warranty for the track that the ZL1 has? I'm not, but it would be a nice suprise.

I don't see why not? if the parts used on the 1LE are ZL1 parts which carry the track warranty, common sense and intuition would lead me to believe the 1LE would be covered under track usage. That is what they are marketing the car for anyway (just like the ZL1) so GM would be foolish not to cover the 1LE under the same conditions (completely stock/track usage). Plus there is no engine modifications on the 1LE so it's really just suspension components and gear ratio changes, that's easy enough to warranty!

Without reading through the last 21 pages where I'm sure this has been brought up, but GM should really just "re-badge" this 1LE and call it the new Z/28!!! Don'tcha think???

All of those ratings for the have been proven to be BS time and time again. That time is for a 2011 SVTPP GT500...

The power rating is wrong and so is the weight...

Not if they're waiting for the 6th gen which should be lighter

"Also new for 2013 is an available dual-mode exhaust system, available on Camaro SS models with the LS3 V8 engine and six-speed manual transmissions."

Disappointment: Dual-mode exhaust not available with automatic trans.

Question: With 3.91 final-drive ratio does the absurd gas guzzler "tax" kick in?
