I think the 1LE option might have enough of a "wow factor" for a dealer or two to convince themselves they could earn an extra buck....sad as it is to say...
But the BOSS LS is a different trim, I'm not going to argue this because dealers are as a general rule ****suckers.

While I'd never in a million years pay it -- and frankly, thumb my nose at those who do...I can't blame the dealer. As business cases go - it's a good one...

Lose a few hundred dollars waiting just a little longer for that sucker who'll come by and pay an extra 10,000 for a car.

I mean $39k is already a good bump in MSRP for the 1LE content, but throw on the inevitable $5k dealer markup, and at that price, the 1LE is about *$12,000+* more than what you can get a 1SS out the door for... I don't know -- pretty sure I could NOT justify the price premium at that point.

I hope I'm wrong, but history is clearly on the side of dealers going for the gouging markups on cars like this. I would hate to think the 'new' 1LE is just another high-priced special for those with deep pockets.

no need to pay dealer mark-up - this will not be 'limited edition' -

Yes it says on the front page it has beefed up half shafts to handle the ZL1 tires.

To all the Magnetic Ride zealots: how do you explain that this Camaro circuit monster doesn't have it?

I will almost guarantee you that ride quality has suffered some. With that said. I'm not for MR. I prefer the sandard e/FE4 or pedders setup. SCCA compliant.

When will dealers learn? There is always another dealer out there willing to sale at or below MSRP. Plane tickets and hotels won't total 5k. on top of having fun driving home with it.

I am not sure if you know the answer to this, but from looking at the window stickers it seems that over the years the Canadian/North American part content has increased in the camaro. Have I done crappy research or is this in fact true? It's something that is important to me and actually one of the reasons I chose the camaro over the mustang.
