I just watched Rick's two how to repair rock chip videos. I have rock chips on both sides of my hood. I used GM inferno orange touch up paint to TRY to repair them, but it looks like crap. Of course there was some touch up paint that ended up around the chip on the clear coat. This was done about 8 months ago. Can I still get the Langka kit and correctly repair the rock chips? The solution that you rub over the chip using the cloth and credit card.......that removes the excess paint remover AND fills in the clear coat???? I'd like to give this a shot......its better than taking it to the local highly recommended body shop and having them charge an arm and leg to re-paint the whole hood.

Would this be good to fix the gouges I left in the back bumper when I took off the OE tail light bezels?

The Langka product is designed to be used on paint that is not more than 24 hours old, if I remember correctly. I have used it on older repairs, but it is a lot of work. If you rub enough it will remove the existing touch up paint and you can start over. I'd try the Dr Colorchip product, since I've read it works better.
