Alright so FINALLY put everything back together, took my car out of storage and drove it around for a couple of hours. Now here are the highly inticipated pics of my engine bay now

With just the valve covers on:

Not gonna lie it was a huge pain to remove and re-install these dang covers. For anyone who wants to do it for themselves I highly highly highly recommend air tools, you will save a crap load of time, skin and won't curse as much.

Next threw on my IM

Then re-attached everything

.

Now what I have left to do is to re-arrange my catch can hoses and cover them with a black braided hose cover to make them look a little better. I also want to figure out a way to clean up the passenger valve cover since there are so many hoses and stuff on it. But if I must say....DAM IT LOOKS GOOD!!!!

Thanks! Mainly just the bolts on the back of driver side valve cover, those are a huge pain you have no idea. It takes some work getting a wrench in there and once you go there isn't that much room to work with...it literally took me twice as long to do 4 bolts it the back of that cover than to do all the rest along the side and front.

AWESOME, Way to go with the covers. I did not do mine. Just couldn't tkae the time to break apart the covers and do them right. Figured I would have to live with it as is.

Thanks, not going to lie before I even started taking them apart originally I thought to myself it can't be that bad...but boy was I wrong haha. I love how they came out but honestly if I had to redo it again I prob wouldn't, just to save myself aggravation with those back bolts those are the only thing that makes it that huge of a pain.

Maybe because you stored it for a little while?...i dont know why driving it around would make it ready. But then again i know nothing about inspections lol

I had the same thing happen to me with my C6 Z06. I had the battery disconnected for a few days while I did some interior work. And it wouldn't pass inspection. Drove it for about 30-40 miles and all was good!

The guy did say it was because my "Battery Died and the system hasn't had a chance to ready" I had my battery hooked up to a tender and it was disconnected from the car but I can see what he means. Just got done driving 60 miles haha. Gonna let the car sit for about an hour and then go out and see if I can read the OBD sensors with the new trifecta software and see if they are ok now.

oh i agree its everywhere but ironically some b*tch flipped me off today so its a 50/50 here old people AND women drivers cannot drive

hahaha they do to my memory, you connect the red cord to the OBD2 port BUT not to the computer yet, and then i think you start the software and it should say when you should connect the cable to the USB port and turn the key to start or on i cant remember
