Hi all,

I've read these forums before but never posted. My 2010 2LT RS ABM was stolen out of my garage 2 weeks ago. I am heartbroken because I custom ordered it exactly how I wanted it. Insurance has paid out and I am looking for another ABM. It's the only color I really LOVE.

There are a few on the East Coast but I am in California and don't have the time right now to fly out there to buy one. Any one know of any leads on the West coast?

bummer..what's the vin# s(last 5 digits) so that members can keep a lookout...we should get an amber alert for stolen 5th gens.:(

same thing happened to me 5 years ago my trans am was never found. i decided i did NOT want another one i was afraid it would be stolen too.

Sorry to hear about the Camaro, the blue Camaros are always my fav but good luck in finding a replacement.

another reason why I won't cancel onstar. Onstar could have located the vehicle, posted its location to local authorities and even shut off the car. A lot of people say it's not worth it to them but I like to see it as additional insurance. How much money do you put into insurance and never use it, aside from it being required?

There has been a low mile ABM SS for sale around Cedar Rapids, IA. Check craigslist. I would be happy to check the car out for you.

Hi deana selling my abm next month Ordered a 2012 mercedes slk250,turbo4 stick Mistic blue [just like abm] but it's $2300.00 extra.

Wow that sucks OP.

Did u have that GAP insurance? That was super quick.

Have u looked at the new colors? IBM is nice,looks very classy but the camaro looks great in all colors. Have u thought of maybe custom painting it to IBM? Im sure it will be better than the crappy one GM used.

Sorry for your loss. You are right, most of the available ABMs seem to be east of the Mississippi River. However, if you can wait a few months the 2013's will be out in June/July. Rumor has it that a "blue" may be available for the new model year. I am hoping it is something close to Aqua Blue Metallic.

That's a drag, so sorry to read.

It's probably been shipped overseas by now so Onstar and the VIN (stamped on all the panels) won't matter.

Perhaps your dealer would be kind enough to scope other lots for a replacement.

Onstar is rather useless if a thief knows what they're doing (considering they successfully stole a brand new car, I'd assume they do). All they have to do is disconnect the battery or module and boom, onstar is SOL.
